Revolution Hall Wedding
The Revolution Hall Wedding of Michaela and Michael was a real treat. We love to shoot at Revolution Hall with its AMAZING service (thank you Carrie!!) and its fun, industrial chic feel, and its incredible convenience to basically everywhere in the capital district!! YES. Please get married here! We thoroughly enjoy the spirit and excitement of this venue, the great big dance floor, all the angles from upstairs and on the stage, and the general ease on days we get to work here! I digress.
This was a great wedding. Congrats to Michaela and Michael for having such an awesome love, to start with, and an amazing family too!
Not only was this wedding beautiful, it was full of love and tenderness and emotion.
Dancing:
As you may have discerned from reading this blog. I am HUGE on the dancing portion of the evening. I absolutely love watching families come together and shower the couple with love and joy. When people are dancing together, they are certainly cementing their bond as one big united family. Getting everyone up and dancing is such a critical part of the ritual of joining families in our culture (and every culture, come to think of it- are there any that don’t dance to celebrate?!) It feels so fundamental to being a human being! Another good reason to hire someone who knows how to throw a good dance party!!! At this wedding, the NY Players did NOT disappoint!! The music was great and everyone got on that dance floor and partied like it was their job!! Go team!
Some of the best moments happen on that dance floor. If you are not a dancer, get lessons, have a shot, do whatever it takes to become one! My husband would hate this sentence, HAHA. Not a dancer. LOLOLOL.
Ceremony:
I could literally watch the ceremony part of this wedding over and over again. It amazes me how beautiful a veil and wedding gown can look as the bride starts her walk down the aisle!! This wedding had one of the most beautiful approaches I have ever seen. Michaela looked so incredibly graceful as she and her dad made their way to Michael, waiting for them. The inside of this cathedral is filled with such grandeur, it is the perfect setting for elegant weddings like this one!!
How did you meet?
From the Bride:
10 years ago we met through mutual friends at Siena College (where Michael went to school and was friends with Michaela’s HS friends) and we started dating 2.5 years ago after we matched on Bumble in NYC. 🙂
Finally- Wish you guys all the best, a lifetime of happiness, health, and dancing!
