Foxfire Mountain House Wedding | February 26, 2017

Every so often you get the opportunity to observe something truly unique and beautiful, like this bohemian Foxfire Mountain House Wedding. Pink hair, the wings of a bird, snow, mild weather, and ample moss made this a feast for the eyes. The love of the couple just added the icing on the cake.

The cake too was rather unique and special, a celebration of citrus colors and flavors. Photography by the super talented Jessie Casey and coordination and design by the one and only Mary Elise Rees. Hair by Ash Pardee and makeup by Leah Francesca. True love by Lauren and Craig. She got her gorgeous dress from True North Bridal.

A Foxfire Mountain House wedding is a special event with rustic character and antique charm from the architectural details of the building itself to the fascinating decor. You feel transported to another era. Lauren and Craig said their “I Do’s” amidst a great display of mother nature, the rushing water of a spring fed pond, partially frozen over, the mossy ground, and so many trees standing witness to their love.

Outdoor Surprises

On the premises of the Foxfire Mountain House, there is the cutest little outdoor living room, complete with a sauna. This alone could have me tempted to move in! The coziness of the space was the perfect vibe for this intimate little elopement. Why pack a church when you can have the birds, squirrels, and chipmunks as your guests! There were no distractions from their wedded bliss as they promised their forevers in this beautiful outdoor wonderland. The interior spaces created the perfect place to cut and eat their wedding cake, to share some snuggles by the fire, and to indulge in some well deserved peace and quiet!

Many Happy Years

We all wish you many happy healthy years together in wedded bliss. May you soak up every happiness that life has to offer for decades and decades to come. Congrats!!
