Abby & Eric, A Beautiful Autumn Berkshires Wedding, Sept 2017
What a beautiful fall day it was when Abby and Eric celebrated their love in an authentic and touching Berkshires wedding ceremony set against the round stone barn at Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts. The love between these two is so evident, and hearing the stories from friends and family who have watched their love grow was a very special part of the day. There were many amazing surprises with these two- laughs during the vows, an amazing “how they met” story and best of all– the groom serenading his bride at the very end of the day. Absolutely loved watching these two cross the threshold into marriage. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
The Round Barn at Hancock Shaker Village
The setting at the Hancock Shaker Village is idyllic with many ornamental and medicinal plants growing in the abundant gardens and the extremely tall sunflowers giving the whole scene an incredible cheerfulness!! The sky was blue, the birds sang, and everyone in attendance seemed in very good spirits. Dinner was served on the top floor of the round barn which created a very unique atmosphere. The dinner area overlooked the round dance floor and the band kept everyone very entertained throughout the evening. The speeches were sweet and meaningful and were delivered out in back of the round barn in the crisp evening air. The story of how Abby and Eric met was both touching and illuminating, as if these two might not have united in marriage had it not been for the careful planning of some of their good friends!!
