First: Party
Katie & Jordan throw a good party. After flying in from Chicago, friends and family were for revved up for this very fun Rev Hall Wedding! A perfect mix of romance and funky fun, Katie & Jordan were elegant and tender without sacrificing good ole goofy fun. Their intros were entertaining and memorable (in the best way!) and their first dance was perfect. Though they clearly choreographed and rehearsed it, this first dance was filled with surprises and aw and was a huge highlight of their gorgeous event.
Next: Style
The dress Katie chose for her wedding was so elegant, with delicate and romantic detail, she looked so beautiful and the dress appeared as it had been created for her. The floral choices complimented her lovely dress, without overpowering or shying away. The ceremony florals were spectacular in the troy park they chose for their ceremony spot. This spot, shaded by tall deciduous trees and gated in the middle of the city of Troy, offered the perfect mix of nature and city.
And then: Rev Hall
This Rev Hall wedding was hopping, full of people these two love, full of amazing music and revelry, and the smells of their delicious meal! So food, family, friends, and fun! The ingredients of a perfect wedding! Rev Hall is an amazing place to get married- right on the Hudson River, perfect view of sunset and lots of spots for sunset portraits… They also have a great upstairs space for amazing sunset photos with a rustic industrial look! Its hot up there though, be ready!! The staff at Rev Hall are some of the best in the area– very attentive to the needs of Bride, Groom, and vendors! We love working there!!

It is always so fun to hear what friends and family have to say about couples. When it was toast time, these F&F did not fail!! Weddings are such a great time to tell people how much you love and appreciate them. It is important to make use of the few rights of passage we have left in our culture. And to mark these special occasions with our best words and gestures.
